  • Phone Consultation - We offer a free, 15-minute phone consultation, if desired.  Together, we will discuss your needs and how Steve can be of help to you with your individual or couples issues.  Feel free to inquire about any aspect of treatment or Steve's credentials and experience.

  • Office Hours - Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm 

  • Location - Durham, North Carolina

  • New Clients - Prior to attending your first appointment, we will send you intake forms to complete prior to your first session.

  • Length of Session - Individual psychotherapy appointments are 60 minutes virtually.   Couples appointments are in person for 75 minutes.  It is very important that you arrive on time for your appointment.  

  • Payment - Full payment is due at the beginning of each session.  We accept cash, check or credit card.  Checks should be made out to - Moore Connection, PLLC. 

  • Fees: Individual Therapy $150 (60 minutes) 
    Couples Therapy $200 (60-75 minutes)

  • Insurance - Steve is accepting Aetna Insurance and Cash Pay clients at this time.   
    Blue Cross/Blue Shield NC application is in process.

  • Cancellation - Appointments that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice as well as missed      appointments are charged a fee of 75% of the booked session fee.  Late cancellations and no-shows affect the business of Moore Connection, PLLC, but also deprive others of the opportunity for services.  All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made by voice-mail or text.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. 

  • Confidentiality & Privacy Policy - are consistent with local, state and federal laws.   The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.   However, there are a few exceptions, please ask about these.
